Update:
Sorry folks. I tested and thought you could get to the pics on facebook w/o an account. If you have an account there, I posted them on the Anime Weekend Atlanta facebook page. That should have been where the link went.
Otherwise, I've also posted my specific pics on Flickr.

Saw G.I. Joe last night. My expectations for this movie were not high going in. So I was surprised that I enjoyed the movie. It definitely put me in mind of those 4 day saga episodes the original show had back in the day. A few things left me disappointed. The Baroness had no accent. Well she did, but it wasn’t eastern European or even European. See the movie to find out why. They did stray quite a bit from the animation or even the comics. Marlon Waynes was the comic relief but wasn’t overused to the point where he was a frickin goof, as often happens in these kinds of films. (See Dungeons and Dragons) Great fight scenes between Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes and also a nice catfight between the Baroness and Scarlet. The origin of cobra commander, I was looking for more but oh well. All in all, it was a fun ride. They did leave out the one thing that would have put the move over the top.
They had Roadblock in the movie. He never asked, “who wants a body massage?”

The king is dead.

Farewell Michael Jackson. You have changed the world with your gifts and talents given by God. May your reward in the next world be as bountiful as the legacy you leave in this world.

Just saw the new Star Trek and I must say all in all, I was impressed. There will be a few lines here and there that will make you cringe and then there's the Chekov issue, but I'm sure this has been discussed over and over in "X" number of forums and blogs so I won't go into it. Other than that, I was very impressed with the story and the visuals are some of the best ever from a Star Trek movie. As for the new Enterprise. . . As a wise man once said, "It's not the Enterprise without a Sulu at the helm." It was the Enterprise. I might even say it was a bigger Enterprise?
Favorite character, hands down is McCoy. Some of the best lines. I swore at times he was literally channeling DeForest Kelley. Great performance. I approve.
